Standards for the Protection of Minors
Dear Guests, we inform you that as of February 15, 2024, amendments to the Family and Guardianship Code came into effect, aimed at increasing the protection of minor victims of violence (the so-called "Lex Kamilek" Act). The new regulations oblige, among others, representatives of the hotel industry to verify the relationship between adult guests and children, i.e., to establish whether the adult is the child's parent/legal guardian and whether the child is not exposed to danger.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If a child covered by a reservation arrives at the hotel and is checked in by a person who is neither the child's parent nor legal guardian, the reception employee is obliged to request from that person a PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN STATEMENT CONSENTING TO THE CHILD'S STAY UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THAT PERSON. This applies both to people unrelated to the child and, for example, to grandparents or uncles who are not the child's legal guardians at that time. We ask for your understanding towards our staff who, in accordance with the new regulations, are required to verify the relationships between the child and the adults accompanying them at the hotel. Our actions are primarily focused on the safety of your children.
