The resort, unlike many other seaside towns, is vibrant with both During the summer season, as well as in autumn and winter. This is greatly influenced by the fact that the city has been granted the status of a health resort "Uzdrowisko Kolobrzeg".

The history of Kolobrzeg dates back to the 8th century, while the city was granted city rights in 1255. One of the city's main attractions is also a pier measuring as much as 220 meters in length, with a width of 9 meters. The walking pier is about 4.5 meters above sea level. One of the characteristic features of the region is its unique microclimate, which with its qualities attracts tourists from all over Europe. Kolobrzeg, thanks to its wide sanatorium base, is the place of choice for the treatment of conditions such as rheumatological diseases, orthopedic and traumatic diseases, respiratory diseases, as well as cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension.
